Learn watercolour techniques with Liz Chaderton

Whether you’re new to watercolour or already a confident artist, these video-based online courses teach you step-by-step how to go from a blank page to capturing the beauty of the world around you.

Each course has been carefully planned and delivered by professional artist and tutor, Liz Chaderton, to share her energetic and joyful loose watercolour style.

Each course is filmed in Liz's studio, not on a fancy set with clever camera angles. The aim is to give you as close an experience as possible to sitting alongside her as she paints.

New courses are being developed all the time, so please keep checking back or sign up to the newsletter to be the first to know about new subjects.

Comments about Liz's in person workshops

Not only is Liz a great artist, she is also a great tutor. Liz has a relaxed and friendly manner and delivers a well structured course. Her critiques are fair, constructive and encouraging. I went hoping to learn how to 'let go' and loosen up a bit - and certainly achieved my objective, and learnt good techniques, as well as having fun. I'll be back for more!

Liz is a wonderful teacher: engaging, enthusiastic and encouraging. The course covered some basic and more advanced techniques with lots of time to practice and experiment. I would thoroughly recommend Liz’s courses to any one who loves watercolour

As a convert from acrylic painting to watercolours, I learnt so many valuable tips and techniques form Liz, how to make use of the colours, tones and how to put them on your paper, very simple once you know how!! So thanks for that Liz, the demonstrations are easy to follow and understand and offer many 'light bulb' moments.
