To make the Cola pen:
Drink can (does not have to be cola!)
Cutting mat, or surface protection
Sharp knife (Stanley-type)
Scissors
Tape (eg duct, electrician's, masking)
Fine sand paper
Handle, rigid (pencil, chop stick, thin bamboo etc)
Marker pen

For the course project:
Watercolour paper 140lb/300gsm Not surface, approx 50x40cm 
Cola / folded nib pen
Waterproof black Indian ink
Watercolours - quin gold, burnt Sienna, French ultramarine, caput mortem/Mars violet. Please feel free to substitute colours to make this painting truly your own.
Brushes - large round (16), small round (8), large filbert if you have one
Other - spritzer bottle, kitchen towel, two water containers, HB pencil and eraser
